Thriving as we Come Out of COVID

Join Longfellow Life Coach for an IN PERSON summer workshop series! During this 5 session series we will discuss and work through topics that will support you to feel better and live more fully as we transition out of one of the toughest years of our lives. 

 

You are parents, grandparents, teachers, nurses, advocates, friends, and so much more. You care about your community and you do all that you can to support and take care of everything and everyone.

Sometimes, though, all of that giving and all of the energy you spend taking care of your families, your communities, and your world can become exhausting. And you can become burnt out and struggle. This workshop series will allow you to turn the focus inward, and to use that focus to strengthen and support YOU, so that you can feel better, live better, and give more completely.

Weekly Topics will Include (but are not limited to):

  • The power of mindset and why your thoughts matter (this is NOT toxic positivity)
  • Processing and Moving through tough emotions
  • Your amazing brain – learn to understand our human brain and how it can sometimes work for or against us. Learn to use the power of your brain to achieve better results in your life.
  • Simple and accessible strategies for taking care of yourself and how to follow through on your commitments to yourself. 
  • Habits; How to break the bad ones and create the good ones.
  • Stop drifting and start living the life that you deserve.
  • And so much more!

 

What you need to know:

When are the Workshop Sessions being held?

The workshops will be held from 6:30 – 8:00pm every other Monday evening. Session dates are: 6/14/21, 6/28/21, 7/12/21, 7/26/21, and 8/9/21. 

What can I expect the sessions to look like?

Each workshop session will be a combination of  teahing, group discussion, and personal reflection. We will talk, laugh, reflect, and learn together as a group. Bring your vulnerability and an open mind. 

Where will the sessions be located?

These workshop sessions will be held in-person. (yay!) We will meet outside at a local park. Exact location will be announced closer to June 14th. 

How many people?

The max number of participants will be 12. Space is limited and will be granted on a first come, first served basis.

What happens if it is raining?

If it is raining during a scheduled workshop, we will either move the workshop to Google Meet or meet under a covered shelter outside. In the case of rain, I will make the call about an hour before the scheduled session and inform you of when and/or how to access the workshop.

What if I am out of town or sick and miss a session?

Summer is a busy time and I realize it might be tough to make it to each session. While you would benefit more from our time together in-person, reviewing the information for that week on your own can also be very valuable. I will create a recording of the teaching portion of each workshop that you can access if you do need to miss a session.

What if I am interested in a private session as well?

Private coaching can be a powerful addition to this workshop series. Workshop participants can purchase one 45 minute coaching session for just $25. You could choose between an online session or an outside in-person session. Outside in-person could involve us going on a hike, sitting in a park, or coming up with another creative way to do the session in the presence of mother nature. Sarah’s coaching gave me solid idea’s on what I needed to move forward. She was reflective, gave me space to explore and helped me define and put a timeline together for my goals. It gave me insight into how to be present in my emotions and how to recognize my mindset. The information I learned in these sessions has helped me in being a better business partner, be more present in my goals and given me solid steps to move forward.
